Bentley Miniature Railway is a passenger carrying miniature railway running in the grounds of the Bentley Farm Estate
The railway operates model locomotives of various scales running on a track gauge of 7¼ inch and a journey of 1.1miles or 1.77km, for this we charge just £2 per person per trip. The railway is open most weekends during the summer.
Additionally you can visit our friends at Branching out adventures in the Glyndebourne Wood, which in the spring has some beautiful bluebell walks and is a peaceful break from the hectic pace of modern life at any time of the year.
The railway is owned and operated by volunteers who are members of Bentley Miniature Railway Limited, which is a company incorporated in England and Wales, company number 8775876, registered address: Harveys Lane, Ringmer, BN8 5AF. Bentley Miniature Railway is affiliated to the Federation of Model Engineering Societies.
The club meets each summer weekend to operate public services and most weeks there are works parties during the day to allow members to conduct maintenance on the railway and associated infrastructure.
