Similar Class 20 locos which run on Bentley Miniature Railway
The Class 20 prototype, also known as a "Chopper" is a Diesel-Electric loco built in the 1950's-1960's and some are still in service today making them one of the greatest survivors on the UK's railways.
Just like the prototype, while D8004 & D8132 can operate independently, these two mostly run as a pair providing haulage to both public passengers and wagon services alike however unlike the prototype these are purely electric.
These highly detailed loco's first ran at Bentley in 2024 and are expected to be seen regularly in 2025.
