4701 (GWR 47xx)
The Great Western Railway 47xx class was designed and built by George Jackson Churchward. 9 of the locomotives were built between 1919 and 1923.
The class carried a Great Western Livery before entering BR.
This 7 1/4 model of the 47xx class was built by Keith Wilson, completed in roughly 1969.
4701 arrived at BMR in 2022 and has been seen as a regular runner on event days and occasional weekends.
